Very Posh
I LOVE this nail salon. It's really close to my Victory Park condo. The setting of this nail salon is very lux. They give the best manis! It's my new go to spa! I just love this place!
Heard so much about OPI axxium...
Heard so much about OPI axxium and despite mixed reviews of this place + that it was 20 mi from my hotel, tried it anyway b/c I figured if any city knows nails, it's gotta be the big D! Made an appt (which I'd recommend b/c they were oddly busy for a weekday midday, but then again it is Dallas) & got started right on time. If you don't understand English w/ a very heavy Vietnamese accent, just listen to your iPod, relax & trust the manicurist. I expect perfection in results but one of nail fell short on that so -1 star for getting 9/10 fingers right. 2 weeks later (check out the pic!), it's still looking great. You'll tire of the color &/or want to get repolished due to grow-out well before the gel comes off, so though $45 + tip for a mani is steep, it's totally worth it for fuss-free results. TIP!!! Don't do what I did & forget to ask how to REMOVE the stuff. (hint: regular remover doesn't work.) I ended up peeling the gel off (sorry if that's gross) one bored evening. Pretty sure that was not a good move.
Long massage
Long massage, cute decor, walked in and didn't have to wait. OPI and Essie nail polish only. My manicurist gave me a neck and shoulder massage for a few minutes, which was nice.
This place is the best
Overall this place is the best, the staff is nice and they serve water and wine while you sit. Most of the time I call ahead for appointments but it's not necessary. The owner also runs the Beverly Hills Nail and Spa which I also used to go to occasionally.
